Noting Features
The Noting toolbar includes the following components (each with its
own icon):
A comprehensive dialog used to set
up a drawing and modify the variables associated with the Noting
Utilities.
Text:
Dynamic
Single-line Text, Single-line Text, Dynamic Multi-line Text, Multi-line
Text, Continue Text, Text on an Arc
Text Utilities: Spell Checker, Find and
Replace Text, Change Text Case, Convert single line text to mtext, Explode
attributes to Text.
Leaders: Straight and
Loop Leaders using the ACAD associative leader commands. Added features
include multiple leaders.
Note and Leader: Note/Leader and Note/Loop Leader. These functions use the
associative leader function and qleader for ease of drawing adjustments.
Options allow placement of the note then draw leader or draw leader and
place note.
Keyed Notes: Circle, Ellipse, Hexagon,
Square, Triangle, Diamond. All symbols include a leader of the type
selected in the noting variable preferences. Options allow placement of
the symbol then draw leader or draw leader and place symbol.
Symbols: Elongated Hexagon, Split Hexagon,
Elongated Ellipse, Triangle Revision, Rectangle, 2 Split Rectangle, 3
Split Rectangle. All symbols except the Revision Triangle includes a
leader of the type selected in the noting variable preferences for keyed
notes.
Options allow placement of the symbol then draw leader or draw leader and
place symbol.
Section Markers: Double section marker,
Triple section marker, Triple section marker with whiskers, Pointer.
Detail Markers: Split detail marker,
Triple detail marker, Triple detail marker with whiskers, Single detail
marker.
Pointers: Long Straight Arrow, Short
Straight Pointer, Right Arc Arrow, Left Arc Arrow, Slope Indicator,
Elevation Marker, Connection of new to existing Marker.
Break Symbols: Single break, double break,
End of line, End of multiple lines, Break line along run, Pipe or column
break. Options provide a means of defining the length of the various
elements.
Preferences: Set all noting variables.
