FAQ and Help
How do I uninstall LispLink?
- Remove the LispLink directory "C:\Program Files\LispLink". This removes all the program files and support files.
- Remove the LispLink program group. Right click on the
"Start" menu, and choose "'Open." Next, double
click the "Programs"' folder and highlight the LispLink folder.
Right click and select "Delete". This will remove the
LispLink folder and all related components.
- To remove the registry entries, click the "Start" menu and
select the "Run..." option. Enter REGEDIT and select OK.
Next, follow the path:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\CAE-Link\LispLink
Highlight LispLink and press the "Delete" key. This will
remove all registry entries created by LispLink. When prompted for confirmation,
double check to insure you are deleting the correct folder. Removing the wrong
entries could result in severe computer problems.
How do
I place LispLink in a directory of my choice?
- Install LispLink as described in How do I install
LispLink.
- If you have a LispLink icon on the desktop, delete
it.
- Open Explorer and create the desired directory.
- Drag and drop the entire contents of
"c:\Program Files\lisplink" directory into the new
directory you have created.
- Now open the LispLink folder. Highlight the LispLink icon, right click and select properties.
- Under the Shortcut tab of the properties dialog,
change the Target and Start in path to the path of your new location
and select OK.
- Once the paths are correct, highlight the LispLink
icon, right click and select Send To / Desktop.
Your change of path should be in effect. The registry
entries have nothing to do with the path and are created at run time, not
during the installation.
