Communications
All communication between CAE-Link Corporation will be to
the email address you provide.
Volume Serial No:
To get your Volume Serial Number, select
Get_VSN. A small, safe, EXE file will be downloaded. When
the Windows File Download dialog is displayed, select Open. The program will
run and display your VSN. Select Copy to copy it to your clipboard. The
dialog will then close and the file will end and be deleted. Use Ctrl+V to paste the VSN into the data field.
If you can not download an EXE file, do the following: The volume serial number can be found by opening a DOS window and
getting a directory of the boot drive (normally c:). The Volume Serial Number is
displayed at
the top of the listing.
The volume serial number is used to generate a
license code for your computer. There is no possible way this code can be
used to invade your privacy.

CAE-Link License Agreement
In
accordance with the CAE-Link Corporation license agreement, this software is
licensed to a single CPU with the exception of LispLink, Layers, and Drawing
Manager. LispLink can be
installed on up to two computers as long as LispLink is loaded and operating
on only one computer at a time. Layers and Drawing Manager are FREE utilities
and can be installed on multiple computers within a single organization.
You
may not sell, distribute, or license any CAE-Link software in any manner
without written permission from CAE-Link Corporation. This includes Layers
and Drawing Manager.
CAE-Link Corporation does not provide hard copies of the software. The copy
you have downloaded is your final copy. This site is your backup and update
location, check it often. To install the software on a new hard drive or a new machine,
request a license for another CPU with brief description or your
requirements. Upon receipt of the new license code, download and install a new copy. When a new license is issued, your current
license will become void.
All CAE-Link Corporation software is sold on an annual subscription basis
only. A current subscription provides the subscriber to all updates
during the active period at no cost. In the event of an upgrade to a new
release of AutoCAD is issued by CAE-Link, the update will be provided to
current subscribers at no additional cost.. The subscription is based on an
annual basis and must be renewed annually to remain active. All
subscriptions purchased for the CAE-Link systems are provided for the
software "AS-is" with no refunds.
