Version 2008 is compatible with
ACAD 2005-2008 with a single installation.

NOTE: Layers is simple to install, learn and use. You will require no
training; thus, minimizing your downtime learning a new system. You will be able to work with all the
features with ease. If you have any problems or questions, please let us know by
email at support@caelink.com.
If you have an older copy of Layers for ACAD, these files will
provide an update to your current version. If you are now using ACAD 2008,
this is an updated version for your use.
This is a FREE system and requires no
license codes.
Installation Instructions
- If you have previously installed the Layer Utilities, to insure a clean
installation, start ACAD and unload the Layer Utilities.
- Insure ACAD is closed. ACAD must be
shut down for the installation.
- Download the Layer Utilities. To install directly from the web, select Open. If you prefer, select
Save and place the file in a temporary directory.
- If you saved the file, go the the file location and double click on
the file. The EXE is a
standard installation program which is very quick and
compact.
- Next, start AutoCAD and select "Tools/Load Application..." from the
menu. For ease of future loading, be sure to check "Add to History" and select the
History List tab. Now, find and double click on the
file "c:\program files\caelink\load_layers.lsp" and select
Close.
- The system will load and the Layer toolbar will be displayed.
